And the Award Goes To...

The Austin Bar Association recently took top honors in two award categories.

The newsletter of the Austin Bar, Austin Lawyer, received the Outstanding Newsletter Award from the State Bar of Texas.

For the seventh consecutive year, the Austin Bar received the Deborah G. Hankinson Access to Justice Award for a local bar association in a large city. The Texas Access to Justice Commission created the Hankinson Awards in 2003 to honor those bar association that have the highest percentage of donations to the Access to Justice Campaign on the State Bar of Texas dues statement.

Thank you to the many attorney volunteers whose hard work and generosity led to these awards.
