Attorney volunteers to speak on 30 areas of law
AUSTIN, TX - Central Texans are invited to attend free legal classes at People's Law School, this Saturday, February 28, at the UT Law School. Lawyer volunteers from the Austin Bar Association will be on-hand to speak on more than 30 areas of the law, including small business issues, identity theft, wills & estate planning, dealing with the IRS, credit repair, and much more.
Participants choose up to three classes, each featuring one topic. The classes, taught by local attorney volunteers, last 75 minutes and will include a Q&A session at the end. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. with an orientation featuring the Honorable David Phillips, Judge, Travis County Court of Law #1, and ends at 1:15 p.m. More than 4,000 people have attended the event in its more than 15 years.
