Stay at Home to Build a Home

The money we spend on things we can do without could be used to give Tamika Nobles and her family something they can't do without -- a safe home.

The Austin Bar Association's Legal Build Committee has been working hard to fund the construction of a safe Habitat home for Tamika and her family. They have come a long way but still have a long way to go. It's time to get creative! And what better way than to use our homes in the process of making the dream of home ownership come true for Tamika? They have decided to give up eating out for just one week and will donate the money saved to the Legal Build fund for Tamika.

The Legal Build Committee encourages you to join them in helping build Tamika's home and appreciating our homes in the process. This small gesture will go a long way if enough of us participate. So, please, let's eat at our homes this week so that Austin Habitat will be able to build Tamika's home this fall.

You can donate online or contact Mishell Kneeland for more information at mishell.kneeland@gmail.com or 965-5463. Thanks for supporting Legal Build and helping Tamika's dream of home ownership come true!
