Donations Being Sought in Name of Former Travis County Court at Law Judge
Wilfred Aguilar, who drew upon life experiences to aid dozens of criminal defendants, passed away Tuesday, July 28. An advocate for defendants suffering from mental illness, Aguilar served as judge of Travis County Court at Law No. 5 from 1985 to 2000.
Aguilar also served as a mentor to many young lawyers and continued to offer his counsel to them after going into private defense practice in 2000. He viewed the courthouse and legal community as a family and did his part to promote that feeling.
To make a donation in the name of Wilfred Aguilar, please contact Brian Diego Allen-Aguilar at 300-4549.
