Volunteers Needed for National Healthcare Decision Day April 13-17

Date: Monday - Friday, April 13-17

Seton Family of Hospitals is partnering with AYLA for National Healthcare Decision Day during the week of April 13-17 and is looking for volunteers. Healthcare Decision Day is a nationwide effort to call attention to the importance of every adult taking the time to complete Advance Directives. Some studies show that as many as 80 percent of adults do not have Advance Directives. AYLA wants to be part of changing that statistic.

Seton and AYLA will be conducting a series of "Education Day" workshops during the week of April 13 through 17 to educate patients and hospital staff about Advance Directives. We need attorneys who can volunteer two hours of time during that week to assist with the workshops. If you did not attend the training on March 5, we can provide you the materials. We currently need volunteers for the following time slots:

  • April 13 - 6:00 to 8:30 a.m. Seton Northwest
  • April 14 - 6:00 to 8:30 a.m. Seton Williamson
  • April 14 - 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Seton Williamson
  • April 15 - 6:00 to 8:30 a.m. Dell Children's Medical
  • April 16 - 6:00 to 8:30 a.m. University Medical Center Brackenridge
Please RSVP to Julie Wright at jwright@fulbright.com or Nancy Saylor at Nsaylor@seton.org if you are able to participate.
